The South American
Missionary Society in Canada, SAMS Canada, is a volunteer mission society
of the Anglican Church. It exists to find and send those whom God is calling
to the mission field, and to widen and deepen the missionary vision of Canadian
Anglicans. The Society is affiliated with sister societies in Great Britain,
New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and the United States. The South American
Missionary Society began in Great Britain in 1839 and in Canada in 1979.
